Summer String Fling Orchestra Camps
All music educators will agree on the importance of students playing their instrument over the summer.
We are in our 12th year of String Fling Orchestra Camps at The Center and have a long history of providing excellent instruction throughout the Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky region.
We are introducing new music themes in addition to our traditional classical genre for each week of camp.
Choose from "Classical Favorites" or "Cartoon Tunes" for Elementary String Camps (3rd-6th grades), "Orchestra Boot Camp" for Junior High String Fling (7th-9th grades) and "Broadway Hits" for Junior High/High School (8th-12th grades). Each camp includes a daily schedule of activities involving: orchestra, sectionals, eurythmics, improvisation and skill building. Instructors are faculty of the Cincinnati String Academy and guest faculty from area schools.
And don't forget to attend the "Finale Performance" on Friday at the end of camp. You will be amazed to hear what the students have accomplished in just one short week!
Chamber Music Jr./Sr. High School
A great introduction into an exhilarating music style. Students will be placed in small groups to make trios, quartets and quintets and perform beautiful music at the concert on Friday. Combine this camp with Jr./Sr. High String Fling for a full day of music!
PIANO EXPLORATIONS CAMP IN JULY
This is our 7th year offering beginning to advanced piano students the opportunity to expand their skills and explore their talents in Piano Odyssey or Piano Exploration camps.
Piano Explorations, July 28-Aug 1, is for beginning to intermediate students 7-14 years old. Your child will learn new skills and techniques that will enhance their playing and give them more confidence.
Each camp has its own schedule and includes master classes, ensemble, collaborative piano skills, Jazz & theory, tech lab and more.
Master Classes feature invited guest faculty from University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati Music Academy, Toedtman School of Music and Indian Springs Academy of Music. At the end of the week there will be a fantastic, music filled Finale Performance for family and friends.
Deadline for Piano Explorations Camp is Monday, July 14th.

Cincinnati String Academy Private Lessons
Summer Session-Private Lessons
Private lessons begin the week of June 16 through August 16, 2008( 9 weeks). We welcome all students, new and returning, to our summer session. We encourage returning students to continue with their lessons over the summer and keep up their skills and music practice. We recommend at least 6 lessons over the 9 week session. This allows flexibility for the student and teacher when scheduling lessons. Please talk with your instructor about our flexible summer session. Call or email the office for more information.
